The "Sedona Century Bike Tour" held Saturday, May 6th was a great success! The weather, course and accommodations were perfect! Phil Reimrer and Steve Strine (from our Saturday morning road ride group) were 3rd and 4th to cross the finish line in on the Long Course. Also, blazing trails on the long course were Bobbi from Sol Terra, Phil from West Sedona, Paul from Casa Sedona, and Dan.
DeAnn Mitchell was the first woman to finish the short course (riding with her husband Jeff Spikerman). Sculptor Ken Rowe and Marc Battestini were also riding hard on the shorter course (42 miles in Verde Valley is not really "short".) It was great to ride with people from all over Arizona. . . Sedona has some great riders . . .
Kudos to Beth and Brian at the Old Town Mission and Steve and the gang from Absolute for their efforts in putting on this great event!
