The first Sunday of each month is dedicated to our “Offerings” program. These classes are our gift to you.

Sunday, October 2

11:00–12:30 pm

Movement Exploration: Pilates with Karen Shanley - Focuses on posture, balance, coordination and flexibility with an emphasis on developing and strengthening the “core” abdominal and spinal muscles to both prevent and relieve back pain. Pilates can be adapted to all levels of fitness, age and body type.

1:00–2:00 pm

Chakra Balancing: with Constance Whitelaw. Your chakras are your inner energy centers that source your physical body, as well as your mental and emotional self. As you learn how each chakra affects your inner being, you have a wonderful tool to balance, renew and revive your own life force energy from day to day, moment to moment. Constance will take you on a metaphysical journey through your 7 major energy centers to awaken your life force with color and light to access your lightest state of bodymindspirit.

2:00–3:00 pm

Introduction to Meditation: with Janné John, a Los Osos resident, who is a certified instructor through the Deepak Chopra Center for Well Being. Meditation, a process to rediscover the quietness that is already within the mind, allows us to rediscover who we really are. This silence is the Spirit that is the birthplace of happiness and the source of our inspiration as well as our tender feelings of love and compassion. Janné will help you to access this state.

3:00–4:00 pm

Medical Astrology: with Margaret Hennessy, a practitioner of astrology for over 25 years. This workshop will provide valuable information regarding how you can benefit from knowing astrological cycles to determine how to use your birth chart to stay healthy. Each participant will receive their own planetary placements so they can follow and personally apply these health tips.

4:00–5:00 pm

Cultivating Gratitude: with Lynda Foresman, director of a Natural Balance Integrative Wellness Center in Arroyo Grande. Lynda will offer great insight into just what a positive outlook throughout life can do. Coming from her own experience she will show participants how to gain a positive attitude and support others in doing so as well. Nourish gratitude and you can see “A Miracle in a Blade of Grass”.
